"Human society can be neither well-ordered nor prosperous unless it has some people invested with legitimate authority to preserve its institutions and to devote themselves as far as is necessary to work and care for the good of all."
-St. John XXIII
The mission of St. Bernadette's Pastoral Council is to foster Christian community through worship of God and service to God's people by being sowers of Christian Seed: Support, Enable, Encourage and Develop:
The Pastoral Council are faithful parish members brought together in council. They listen, pray, converse, and deliberate on current and future parish needs and who make recommendations to our Pastor, Father Bob, regarding those needs. The Pastoral Council members represent, through their own faith, the Parish community. The Council members wear gold name badges while on church grounds and are available to receive comments, suggestions, or parishioner concerns. The Council is made up of 17 members with a designated Chairperson, a Co-Chairperson, and a designated Secretary.
