The Health Care Ministry is a group of
parishioners interested in and committed to promoting
health and wellness in the parish. Health promotion
activities include: blood pressure screenings (1st Sunday
of most months), first aid, and health-related
literature. The Health Care Ministry always welcomes new
Blood Drives: Individuals 16 and older
are invited to give blood 4-5 times a year. Blood drives
are held in conjunction with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood
Center on designated Sundays from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Many church members, their family members, and others have
been given the gift of life from this ever growing
AED & CPR
Education: Our goal is to equip
parishioners to act in emergencies and ultimately save
lives. Classes are designed to provide the skills and
practice that are needed to act in an emergency. We
follow the American Heart Association curriculum.

Flu Shots Available at St. B’s: When flu season arrives, keep yourself –
and your family – healthy.
On Sunday, November 3, after the 7:30 a.m., 9
a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses in the Tasker Room, a Certified
Vaccinating Kroger Pharmacist will administer flu shots. The cost will
be $28. The
vaccine is available to individuals age 7+.

CPR Class: Would you know how to do CPR or
use an AED in the event of an emergency?
Learn the skills to help your friends and family. This CPR/AED
Course will teach the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only
CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant
CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child, or infant. Class will be held
on Wednesday, November 6, from 9-12 noon. RSVP is required
as seating is limited.
